Application for patent WPC

In co-operation with the company Häussermann GmbH in Sulzbach/Murr a patent for the processing of WPC products has been applied for. This method allows for the first time to process matchwood and other natural raw materials with extremely low bulk density and/or big particle dimensions. All products that because of these properties cannot efficiently be stored in silos nor weighed with sufficient precision, are conveyed in the Henschel processing route in high-compressed form. During this process the particles are fully coated with mostly polymer binding agents and at the same time dried to less than 1% of residual moisture left as well as pelletized to a directly processable bulk material.
Typical examples of applications are e. g. wood shavings (pressed in bales of up to 35 kg and shrink-wrapped in foil), wood briquets and wood pellets for heating.
For this process the Henschel mixer combination of the FM/KM or FM/HM series with corresponding automatic conveying of all recipe ingredients can be used. Here, also, the complete equipment configuration is designed to perfectly match customised process requirements.
